Terms of payment
The room rate shall be paid in full (100%) upon departure.
Ruths Hotel reserves the right to charge a deposit of 25% of the booking price for bookings during the summer season,
at holidays and for larger parties or group bookings. The deposit falls due 30 days after booking and if the deposit is not paid on time, the booking will be cancelled.
For on-line booking, the full amount (100%) including any extras must be paid when making the booking. The payment shall be made by credit card via DIBS (Danish Internet Payment Service), which is approved by PBS.
Cancellation must be in writing at least 10 days before arrival.
When booking later than 10 days before arrival, the deadline for cancellation is 24 hours.
If the deadline for cancellation is exceeded, or in case of no-show, 25% of the total room rate must be paid as a cancellation fee.
For cancellation due to acute illness, accident or death affecting the guest, their spouse, children, parents or siblings, a full (100%) will be provided.
Cancellation of parties/groups
Cancellation of a party event with 12 people or more must be in writing and no later than four weeks before the date of the booked event. For less than 12 persons, refer to the above.
For cancellation of the entire party event or a reduction of the participants by more than 10% up to 6 days before the booked event, an amount will be charged corresponding to 50% of the price of the cancelled services.
Cancellation less than six days before the booked event will be charged at 75% of the price for the cancelled services. Reductions of 10% can be made without charge until 24 hours before arrival.
If the stay is prevented due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, wars, riots etc.), Ruths Hotel A/S shall not be liable for disrupted or cancelled stays.
