In the kitchen at Ruths Hotel, there’s a special kind of focus and joy that defines each day – a deep respect for ingredients, craftsmanship, and detail. With our cooking class, we invite you into the heart of this world, where taste, technique, and immersion go hand in hand.

Together with the day’s chef, you’ll prepare a flavourful three-course menu based on the season’s finest ingredients – crafted with balance, finesse, and attention to the beauty of simplicity. Along the way, you’ll learn about kitchen techniques, flavour pairing, and the subtle art of making the ordinary truly exceptional.

But cooking school is about more than just cooking – it’s also about connection. When the day’s work is done, all participants gather in the warm surroundings of Okê to enjoy the meal together. A dinner that leaves you wanting more – and perhaps inspires you to recreate it at home.

It’s an experience for those who value skilled craftsmanship, time to immerse themselves, and the joy of creating something with their hands. And above all: a chance to take a little bit of Ruths home with you.

 

 

On Thursday, 30 October at 4:00 PM, we invite you to join us for a cooking class at Ruths Hotel – an experience where community, expertise, and the joy of gastronomy come together.

Whether you're a company seeking a unique teambuilding activity or a group of friends sharing a passion for fine food, our cooking class offers an exceptional experience.

One of our master chefs will guide you through an afternoon focused on classic French cuisine – sharing techniques, tips, and inspiration designed to both challenge and delight. Together, you'll prepare a refined three-course gourmet menu, culminating in a shared dinner in the atmospheric setting of Okê – of course, in the company of the day's chef.

The price includes:
– Cooking class with one of our master chefs

There is also an option to add a foraging walk earlier in the day. Together with the chef, we’ll explore the unique nature around Skagen and gather seasonal ingredients. The foraging walk begins at 10:00 AM from Ruths Hotel.
